Summary: From the Unterer Tonschiefer (Didymograptus artus Biozone, Lower Llanvirnian, Ordovician) of the Ebbe Anticline (Rhenish Massif, Germany) 4 specimens of the genus Corrugatagnostus are described and figured. They belong to C. magnodosus Koch & Lemke 1997 and C. refragor Pek 1969. With this agnostids are recorded for the first time from German Ordovician outcrops.

Corrugatagnostus magnodosus Koch & Lemke 1997 is documented by the holotype, a rather completely preserved specimen, and a further specimen consisting of the pygidium with a lateral displaced cephalon partially concealed by the pygidium. Corrugatagnostus magnodosus shows the following characters: A truncated glabella with an extremely large tubercle, genae and pleural fields covered with reticulate patterns of scrobiculae, a short rhachis as well as relatively long posterolateral spines.

Corrugatagnostus refragor Pek 1969 is also represented by two finds. The characters of the first, an incomplete cephalon and a rather completely preserved pygidium, are a pronounced glabellar node and less marked caeca with oval scrobiculae. The second find is a rather completely preserved specimen of which the acrolobes are more scrobiculate than those of the holotype and the first proof. Particularly the rugae of the pygidium seem to be radially furrowed, but less deep as in C. morea (Salter 1864). Also the semicircularily shaped posterior lobe of the pygidium points to refer the specimen to C. refragor. The mode of life of Corrugatagnostus is indicated as epiplanctic.
